It's touted as sugar-free alternative to sugars and I've consumed quite a bit of it through Sparking Ice and a "Sugar free" BBQ sauce. I figured it wouldn't be a terrible choice to avoid sucrose in food and drinks. Well...
Seeing as how my body has been randomly triggering high blood pressure and therefore rapid heartbeats and I've been trying to eliminate factors related to exercise and other food and drinks, I have to preliminarily conclude that it must be the Sucralose or Aspartame factor.
Sparkling Ice has been the main point of consumption of Sucralose for me. The BBQ sauce, on the other hand, has been consumed as much. I've been tame about consuming new things mostly because I don't want to spend much money on things that could be potentially disgusting and it is easier to make the same things with little twists. Sucralose has been something I've avoided for a long time because I figured how can the body get any energy from it. Obviously, I held loose to those beliefs lately
ER Rooms aren't going to find any issues related to the high BP and rapid heart rate. They'll tell you they think it is anxiety, but they don't have any idea to back it up other than the aftermath so go to a Cardiologist and Primary Care Doctor. They'll probably prescribe something in a conservative manner especially if you aren't a user of anything that could cause the issues.
Sucralose manufacturers can look at this article and sue me if they want, they will lose promptly due to the circumstances. I keep around receipts and there's nothing recently that has changed past the sucralose based drinks and consumption. What are they going to blame fruits and veggies for the issue? Pasta and rice? Low amount of processed foods consumption too? 😂💀
Watch that Sucralose consumption or avoid it all together. It'll hurt you in the long run.
I'm just going to throw away the BBQ sauces in the meantime.
