I want a tablet that acts like a notebook. I haven't been interested in tablets like iPad or Android Tablets because they are just a scaled up version of a smartphone. The only tablets I have ever bought have been Wacom drawing tablets. Sure, iPad and Android tablets now have pens, but can't say I've been interested in them.
I jumped on the hybrid laptop train really early in the lifecycle when I was in college for the 4 years with Dell and Lenovo hybrids. Lenovo x220t was probably the best one I owned. These were great for math notes and getting rid of heavy textbooks that I would have had to carry around. Microsoft Courier had it released would've been the tablet I would have bought probably even now. I haven't bought a hybrid tablet in a long time nor have I jumped on the Microsoft Surface train. Surface is just Windows on a tablet. I don't have Windows anywhere anymore.
E-Ink tablets are the tablets I've been waiting for for years. These tablets replace a notebook, but I haven't jumped on them yet. The screen refreshes suck ass. Like Remarkable and Bigme have been the best looking tablets so far, but not enough for me to buy in. Lenovo has come out with Lenovo Yoga Paper showing that they are STILL THE RISK TAKING COMPANY outside of IBM's hands. Dell might come out with one soon, hopefully they aren't stupid like before choosing bad digitizer technology like the one they used in their hybrid laptop.
Look, I would be STRONGLY compelled to buy a Lenovo Yoga Paper if it ever goes color with E-Ink Kaleido 3 or something better. LENOVO, if you see this, it is time to RELEASE LENOVO YOGA COLOR PAPER! TAKE MY FUCKIN' MONEY!
😮💨 Still waiting.
