Great piece of technology. $550 for a 4k Monitor with eye tracking, haptic feedback, 3d audio earphones and 2 wireless controllers (technically one whole controller).
As long as you can use the VR headset for non-vr games, it is a monitor.
It's a value buy, not expensive as it could be though, which is good for consumers.
Zombieland is an easy fun casual arcade-like VR game.
Swordsman VR is fun and a slight workout, but repetitive.
Gran Turismo 7 VR mode was immersive, but not too compelling to make VR a must buy.
Not too compelled by VR choices right now to buy anymore games.
Backwards Compatibility would have been nice, but would've made it more expensive.
PS VR2 is a big upgrade over PS VR1, that's for sure. Far less hardware needed to setup and play. No camera and no separate box to plug into that the PS VR1 had.
Sony just needs to get some compelling fun casual games on it and consistently pump those out to get more people. Gorilla Tag on PS VR2 for instance. God of War Mini VR would be awesome. Could be bigger than the Wii as it is more than capable to be better on all fronts.
Also Google Earth VR would be nice.
