Greed and stupidity runs through it. Stupidity through hubris. I can see why people out there don't trust doctors or the medical industry and turn to other things including rebelling against it through anti-vax shit. I don't trust any doctors out there to have my best interests and therefore I remain skeptical of any of their claims. Their job, from my perspective, from now on is to listen and provide advice on all possible known ailments. No absolutes nor definitives (positive and negative( are accepted and you will be fired immediately aka ended interaction. I have not found definitives helpful in my interactions.
One particular surgeon describes the negativity from doctors when a patient is feeling sick but the doctor attempts to act and behave in an authoritative manner as if they know everything that's going on with someone. Fucking certain cancers do not even result in symptoms until near late stage, so fuck the absolutes and the bs. All you have are indicators and probabilities. The sooner a doctor realizes that the sooner they will drop their hubris.
In terms of greed, how much they will charge insurance is insane which drags up the price for uninsured. It's disgusting. I haven't talked to one person who has said they love the healthcare industry and their experiences with it. It's total trash.
Doctors with high hubris must be shown the errors of their ways. Patients must advocate for themselves. The encephalitis fiasco around the NFL and it's doctors did not have the effect it should have had on the healthcare industry. "How do NFL players who had no history of x now display symptoms of an advanced disease" and why did the NFL doctors seek to shut down the findings around it. Closed minded fools.
