Long Covid brain fog may be due to damaged blood vessels in the brain (https://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=39762776) for reference.
Comments here resonate with me given the weird sh*t that happened starting March 2023. Feeling of fluid in the head, near fainting for no apparent reason, heartbeat > 100 just standing, persistent even when laying down, can't walk going to fall, head heavy, brain fog, etc. Some comments even pointing out how complete and totally shit doctors are trying to convince people that it comes from the mind and there is no physiological cause. Some healed from the sh*t eventually.
My problem is that I had no psychological fucking stress so what the f*ck is this bs about psychological and trying to convince me that it is psychological. Of course whatever the fuck happened will cause stress and in turn cause panic attacks. The body doesn't know what the f*ck just happened and sensed that something just went wrong and is trying to react in response to what happened. If it keeps happening, the body learns to cope in that way so even if the root cause goes away, the learned behavior of panic attacks will continue until the body can unlearn it.
I never blindly trust any doctors and what these moronic robotic doctors in 2023 only affirmed that shit. A chatbot can tell me all of the sh*t and more, I expect a HUMAN, especially one that deals with patients, to not act like a chatbot. The variety of quality of doctors is on the garbage side across the spectrum. They just want to pill push. One asked me "what did I want her to do for me" when I said I didn't want f*cking pills. Like I have to tell you how to do you f*cking job? Being a primary care doctor involves more than pill pushing. I have to tell you to tell me what doctors I should be seeing to investigate further? Seriously? I have to tell you that you should be following along especially out of curiosity. It tells me one thing, bad doctors don't give a sh*t about health. They only want to read books, pill push go to conferences than learn what's going on.
It also tells me that most doctors are below average, insurance/no insurance doesn't matter. Most people get below average health care. You know what? AI can replace them very easily and I want AI to replace them. It's better for everyone when humans can focus more on being innovative and looking to outdo the competition which there isn't much of in the healthcare space.
Long COVID causes stress. That is not psychological. Autoimmune disorders of any kinds can cause stress. Viruses can trigger autoimmune disorders at any point inf your life. This is not fixed by any sort of Psychology and Psychiatry. If you get a diagnosis of psychosomatic or doctor's being obstinate about your medical issues coming from the mind, know that they are most likely WRONG especially if it takes one visit for them to come to that conclusion.
I've always had my suspicions that doctors are biased to common and therefore lazy. 2023 gave me that conclusion that they are lazy. Don't trust them if they are not following an issue that pops up and they don't write everything that happens. Can you believe some of these doctors don't even write down anything from a visit, wtf?
Any doctor that cannot take disagreement should be fired. It's unacceptable. It's not even scientific in any way. It's unbecoming. A doctor that doesn't want to be second guessed is a cancer.
So much wrong with this SICKcare system. Total trash that needs disrupting. If Musk wanted to change something, it should have been 44B into buying up healthcare facilities and firing healthcare workers. At least there would be a dent somewhere and a motivation to change their practices.
