Less poppy, less slay, and less girl boss blah blah. More rocky with her exuberant natural voice. Right mix of attitude and rock.
Not bad at reaching out to her early 2000 style and adding to it, but still needs work. Again, much better than her "lost" decade in starting around 2010. I don't blame her for dedicating more attention to pop, girl boss, lean in etc. since the attention was there from her newly acquired audience, so I welcome the change back to a rocky style because punk is where she started at and does super well.
Newer songs
Lost Decade
"What The Hell" is really good, but for pop mostly.
Older songs
Her older songs still rock more. Girlfriend is probably the most recognizable 2000s song.
