I am wrapping up development on this momentous product. Promotional videos and other assets are now being pursued so that next month we are a GO.
There will be 10 survival levels, 2 endless levels, 19 ships each with their own front and rear weapon, 6 special weapons that any ship can get in the level. There are a variety of enemies and most of them will chase you around. Some will just leave if you don't kill them 💀. The powerups are a variety. SURGE is the most fun and best power up you can get. One powerup is a troll item, but is actually useful.
I've thought about adding more things and maybe I will later after some feedback in the wild, but I think it is time to move everything that needs to be done in order to be ready for the App Store launch.
Can't expect any big things from the launch date. Ads will be put on the App Store along with other platforms. This is a small single player game with small goals. The biggest goal is wacky fun, so to forget that goal means to lose the motivation behind this.
I gotta say it's fun to watch the game play. It's easy to be a spectator saying "Go that way! Damn it!" Think I hit the game mechanics I wanted. Still could use work though.
Why iOS first? I only have one Android device, so... Depending on how iOS goes the first month, that will determine if I want to release on Android. Just need to buy some refurbs.
