I've been weaning myself away from High Fructose Corn Syrup based foods. On occasion I'll eat Oreos, Cookies and cream ice cream and what not because there aren't good alternatives out there yet.
Cereal has been a source of High Fructose Corn Syrup or sugar and reduced my consumption of it massively over the past years. I've bought cereal around 2-3 times this year so far. Last year, around 1 or 2 times I picked one out.
Is it a crazy idea to have a reduced sugar and corn syrup cereal without being crazy expensive? Honestly? I would think using less materials would make cereal cost less, but go figure.
I decided to start looking for alternatives recently, so here are some suggestions. These are not affiliate links, so I don't get paid for anything.
If you like Raisin Bran or Wheat Flake Cereals, try
Cascadian Farm Sprouted Frosted Flake Cereal
If you like Honey Nut Cheerios, try
Cascadian Farm Organic Honey Nut O's Cereal
If you like Cinnamon Toast Crunch, try
Cascadian Farm Organic Cinnamon Crunch Cereal, Whole Grain Cereal
Obviously these will not taste exactly like the cereals you are used to because these do not use the same ingredients nor the same sugar content, but they taste GRRRRRREEEEAAAAAAAATTTTTTT. Make sure to add milk. 🐮
